Wedding Reception Planning - How To Plan A Beautiful Celebration Without Becoming A Bridezilla

Author: Kathi Dameron

Wedding reception planning is an experience that can bring out beautiful or bizarre behavior in brides.

The term bridezilla has become more and more commonplace lately. Almost every mother of the bride I have talked with in recent days has mentioned that her daughter has become bridezilla.

These are sweet girls! What in the world is going on?

It is high time that our society offer a better alternative for brides! No one has to be a Bridezilla! Brides simply need a better role model so that they can become the best possible version of themselves.

My mission as a writer, wedding reception authority and teleseminar leader is to encourage brides everywhere to move beyond bridezilla behavior. Guess what? There is actually something much better!!

Ok, so maybe you have had a few bridezilla moments.

It is ok.

No one is perfect.

We all have our moments when we lose rational perspective and become so intensely focused on our own agenda, that we become someone we may not even recognize. Someone we may not even like.

I understand.

Perhaps you feel that the pressure is on you to make this one day absolutely perfect.

Like most brides, you have probably been dreaming about your wedding day since you were a little girl playing dress up in your mom's high heels and evening gowns.

You see your wedding day as the one day that everyone in your world will be focused on you.

Of course, you want this day, your wedding day, to be perfect in every possible way.

Pat yourself on the back and give yourself a BIG HUG! You deserve it! There is no telling the number of activities and details you are trying to juggle right now. However, I want to challenge you to move beyond being just another bridezilla.

The truth is everyone hates bridezilla behavior! I think you know the type of behavior to which I am referring. But in case you don't, please read my blog posting at http://myweddingreception.blogspot.com titled "Are You A Bridezilla?

Something far better than bad bridezilla behavior is beautiful and blessed Proverbs 31 behavior.

The Proverbs 31 Wife and The Proverbs 31 Bride has beautiful qualities of graciousness, resourcefulness and love. Doesn't this sound much more fitting for a bride-to-be than something akin to a godzilla like monster? No man in his right man wants to marry a monster!

The Proverbs 31 Bride is the persona of becoming the best possible version of oneself rather than the worst possible version of oneself (the unfortunate trademark of the bridezilla.)

Won't you let this splendid season of your life allow you to grow into the most beautiful version of you?

5 Qualities of A Proverbs 31 Bride

1. Strong Character

2. Great Wisdom

3. Extraordinary Strength and Dignity

4. An Inspiration To Others

5. A Source of Pride To Her Family and Fiancee
